Corrections & Clarifications
Law Spectacle is committed to publishing accurate, fair, and responsible legal journalism. Despite rigorous editorial and fact-checking processes, errors may occasionally occur. This page explains how we address and correct them transparently.
Our Commitment to Corrections
When an error of fact, context, or attribution is identified, Law Spectacle takes immediate steps to investigate and, where necessary, correct the record.
We distinguish between:
- Corrections – factual errors requiring amendment
- Clarifications – updates that improve understanding without changing the substance
How Corrections Are Made
Once an error is verified:
- The article is updated promptly
- A clearly labeled “Correction Note” or “Clarification Note” is added at the top or bottom of the article
- The correction explains what was changed and why
We do not remove articles solely because they contain errors, except where legally required.
Requesting a Correction
Readers, subjects of reporting, or legal representatives who believe an article contains an error may submit a correction request.
Requests should include:
- The article title and URL
- The specific issue identified
- Supporting documentation, where available
All requests are reviewed by the editorial team within 24 hours.
Transparency & Editorial Integrity
Corrections are made in good faith and in the public interest. Law Spectacle does not alter factual reporting to accommodate pressure, threats, or external influence.
Correction requests may be submitted to: editor@lawspectacle.com
This corrections policy reinforces Law Spectacle’s commitment to ethical journalism and public trust. Transparency in correcting errors is essential to maintaining credibility in legal reporting.
